Rossland Legion gives to the community

Picture taken by Meghan Wright: The Rossland Legion is proud to support programs within our community which benefit our youth. Annually, we give to the Rossland Girl Guides, Trail Track and Field program and the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program. Last year we also supported the Holy Trinity Church Skool-Aid program which provides school supplies to families in need. In 2018 we made a $300 donation and this year we donated $500.
The $500 cheque was presented by (right to left) Al Stinson, Legion Charity Chairperson, Joanne Drystek, Legion Treasurer, to Louise McEwan, Holy Trinity Skool-Aid Coordinator, Marianne Hubbard, Holy Trinity Parish Secretary, Ray van den Nieuwenhof, Legion Service Officer.
