International Day of Climate Action - Thanks!

The Sustainability Commission would just like to thank everyone for their participation in the International Day of Climate Action.
The event was well attended and was a great success thanks to the efforts of the volunteer organizing committee comprised of Michelle Laurie, Aaron Cosbey, Adam James and Nina Cairns. Thanks also to the performers who came out to share their talents. It is inspiring to know that we have so many talented people in Rossland.
There were also a huge number of Rossland businesses that were extremely generous in their provision of door prizes demonstrating a fantastic commitment to their community and to sustainability. We are very lucky to have so many community-minded business people in Rossland. Thanks to Linda Schulze who went around to all the businesses to get the door prizes.
