Smoke Eaters add two more players ahead of 2020-21 season
British Columbia (September 2nd, 2020) – The Trail Smoke Eaters are excited to announce the commitments of two players in Nicolas Roussel and Jackson Krill for the upcoming season.
Roussel, an 18-year-old from Maple Ridge and Krill, a 16-year-old from Port Moody, were both players the Smoke Eaters staff identified from the teams ID Camp. Roussel played just 12 games last year in the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL) before taking the rest of the year off. Prior to that he played Major Midget with the Vancouver North East Chiefs, with current Smoke Eater Logan Terness.

Krill is a product of the Burnaby Winter Club (BWC). In 34 games this year with the BWC Elite 15s he put up 45 points with 17 goals and 31 assists. Prior to that he played bantam prep at the Pacific Coast Academy where he added another 28 points in 29 games
