Missing Calgary man found

Nelson Police report the missing 66-year-old man from Calgary has been found.
Police said the man arrived at his home in Calgary early Tuesday morning and that he was safe after being informed there was a missing person alert issued in his name.

Nelson Police ask for public assistance in finding missing man
Local police are asking for the public assistance to find a 66-year-old Calgary man missing en route from Nelson to Calgary on Boxing Day.
Colin Hansen, who lives in Calgary, was in the Heritage City during the Christmas holiday season visiting his sister.
Hansen, described as bald with a greying beard, moustache and sometimes wears glasses, is about 5’11’ tall, weighing approximately 280 pounds.
He left his sister’s residence in Nelson at about 10 a.m. Friday (December 26) to return to the Alberta City but has not been heard from since.
Nelson Police said Hansen was driving 2007 blue Ford Ranger pick-up truck with an Alberta license plate, BCW-4414.
The vehicle had a Harley Davidson sticker on the tailgate along with two big white horses of the Calgary Stampeders logo on the sides of the canopy topper.
Nelson Police believe Hansen, believed to have a medical condition, took Highway 3A along the North Shore to Balfour, catching the 11:30 a.m. Kootenay Lake Ferry.
Police believe Hansen’s normal route home is to travel through Creston, Cranbrook and Fernie along the Crowsnest Highway.
Nelson RCMP as well as Search and Rescue are also assisting with the search for Hansen.
