Why should K-12 education stay in Rossland? RSS teachers and students speak out

When I first heard about the school closure issues happening in our school district, I was heartbroken. How could someone think that it will be perfectly fine if Rossland schools are closed?
Even though I’m in my last year at a Rossland School, I have a nine year old sister who still attends school up here, and she has so many friends who do the same. It affects so many people in the community in so many diverse ways. I know what I think, and I believe everyone should hear what others have to say.
The students, staff, and residents/business owners in Rossland that I interviewed also have strong views about why it is such a wonderful thing to have a school in our community, another option for students all over the district to choose to go to school. So just listen to what they have to say.
