Warren Hamm wants to lead the BC Conservative Party
A press release today announced that Rossland resident Warren Hamm will seek the leadership of the BC Conservative Party.
Hamm is currently in Australia on business, and could not provide additional comment in time for publication.
His press release describes Hamm as a “veteran tradesman, entrepreneur, and accountability advocate” who “enters the race with a practical, solutions-focused vision for British Columbia.” Hamm cites his background as a Cariboo-raised aircraft engineer, entrepreneur, and long-standing advocate for fairness and practical conservatism, who “brings more than 30 years of hands-on experience across BC’s resource, aviation, construction, and emergency-response sectors.”
The release states that Hamm was the first to announce his candidacy following John Rustad’s resignation, and says he is “a unifying, solutions-driven leader committed to restoring affordability, rebuilding confidence in government, strengthening regional economies, and returning common-sense leadership to British Columbia.”
Hamm added: “It’s time for builders, not bureaucrats. British Columbia needs a team builder who can unite people around practical solutions. The first step to lowering the water level is changing how we do politics: discipline, respect, and a government that works for the people who actually build this province.”
