If you care for a family member or friend who is 55 year of age or older, you are not alone – though caregivers can often feel very isolated and alone. That’s why Trail Hospice is so excited to announce their Caregiver Support Program, designed to meet the needs of caregivers.

The program offers in-person meetings and on-line support groups, one-on-one support, social activities, guidance and resources.

The goal is to help caregivers maintain their mental, emotional and physical health so that they can continue caring for their care-recipient – spouse, partner, parent, friend or neighbour.

Trail Hospice says, “We would love to have you join us for our Caregiver Support Group on the first and third Thursdays of the month, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at the Trail United Church lounge.”

Please call to register at 1-888-212-2337, or email Trail@wkbcaregiver.org

Services are free of charge, sponsored by the BC government, the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary, and United Way.
