Grinch steals Christmas/show during Santa Parade
On Saturday, Dec. 10, at 5:30 p.m. frontline Trail and Greater District RCMP officer responded to a report of a furry green suspect in a red suit stealing the show at City of Trail’s Santa Parade in East Trail, according to RCMP Sgt. Mike Wicentowich. He said the officer conducted surveillance of a well-known Grinch but was unable to stop him from stealing candy and throwing snowballs at parade onlookers.
“Although we have reports that his heart is three sizes too small, our responding officer said it appeared to get larger as the parade progressed,” Wicentowich said.
“The Grinch disappeared at the end of the night and is believed to be planning to steal Christmas in the Trail and Greater District area. Trail RCMP asks the public to report on sightings of a green furry man dressed as Santa with a small dog dressed a Rudolph pulling a large sleigh.”
