Seven Summits Centre for Learning to host its first ever virtual student recruitment event
Seven Summits Centre for Learning (7S) in Rossland is hosting its first ever virtual Q & A session in place of its annual in-person orientation day for students in grades 8 – 12.
The Seven Summits Centre for Learning is an option for students seeking a flexible and self-driven public high school education with a difference.
Parents are invited to attend the event, with or without their students, on Thursday, 11 March 2021 at 4pm – 5pm via Zoom.
For families who want to have real conversations with administrators, teachers, and students, the Q & A event enables participants to dive into the heart of what is important and gain an authentic perspective of life at 7S.
“It won’t be a bunch of administrators, talking about how great the Learning Centre is,” says Vivienne Hurley, marketing coordinator, Seven Summits Centre for Learning.
“We wanted to create an honest, down to earth virtual event that would connect and resonate with local families,” Hurley adds.
“One which would facilitate a frank discussion and enable the audience to direct the flow of conversation. Our aim is to get to the core of what sparks people’s genuine interest in us, bust some myths and enable us to address the heart of their queries, concerns and what is important to them
The 7S learning environment creates adventures in learning with Free Fridays, small classes and an entire cohort under 50 students.
7S also has an impressive track record of academic success since partnering with Navigate NIDES (School District 71): A 100% graduation rate with 90%+ achieving Honour Roll standing and two 7S alumni being Governor-General’s Academic Medal winners.
Any families who can’t ‘attend’ the virtual online event can also request an alternative and personalised one to one online session on the event’s registration page: https://sevensummitslearning.com/webforms/seven-summits-centre-learning-virtual-open-day-registration-form
