Attention, readers of books . . . and anyone who secretly or not-so-secretly enjoys writing, or would like to write, and anyone who would like to meet some of Rossland’s published writers; set aside a series of Tuesday evenings this spring. The Rossland Public Library has a treat lined up – a whole series of treats.

Five Rossland authors will do readings and talk about their work at the Rossland Public Library on Tuesday evenings, starting at 7:00, from March 20 to April 17.  Then on April 24, seven local authors will participate in a moderated panel discussion.

Here’s the schedule:

March 20 – Rosa Jordan

March 27 – Almeda Glenn Miller

April 3 – Skip Rowland

April 10 – Yolanda Ridge

April 17 – Jennifer Ellis

How writing gets published: on April 24, Rosa Jordan, Skip Rowland, Jennifer Ellis, Sparky Steeves and Mark Jeffery are slated to talk about the various ways their works were transformed into book form. Sparky is likely to sing, too; after all, he’s known for it.  Penny Johnston will moderate the session.

Not just for the literati — this should interest anyone who likes books and reading. Isn't that just about everyone?
