Woman charged after fentanyl found in Trail home
A 59-year-old Trail woman has been charged after police allegedly found fentanyl and cocaine in her home, according to RCMP Sgt. Darren Oelke.
“In the early morning hours of March 25, members of the Trail RCMP Crime Reduction Team executed a search warrant on a residence on Topping Street,” Oelke said in a press release. “Police located substances believed to be cocaine and fentanyl along with evidence of trafficking at the Topping Street home.”
Oelke said in a later interview that no weapons, other than a pellet gun, were found in the search.
“The 59-year-old female resident of the house was arrested and will be facing drug related charges. She has been released from custody and scheduled to appear in Rossland Provincial Court May 4, 2017.
