Notice: Major Water Interruption -- Turn Off Automatic Sprinklers!

The City of Rossland has issued a notice to residents: the work on the Washington Street project includes changing our water main, and this requires an interruption in water service for about six hours.
Please avoid using any water at all from 11:00 pm on Wednesday, August 31, until after 5:00 am on Thursday September 1.
There will be very low water pressure, or none.
Those midddle-of-the-night piddles won’t jurt anything if they’re left in the toilet until 6:00 in the morning. And no-one’s lawn will die of thirst if it skips one watering.
After the water comes back on, and we turn our taps back on too, we are advised to let a faucet run for two or three minutes. (That’s probably in addition to all those toilets flushing at 6:01 am throughout the town.)
