Police ask for public help after fatal crash in Fruitvale

Police are requesting public assistance in their investigation of a fatal accident last week in our region. The RCMP press release is as follows:
West Kootenay Traffic Services are continuing to investigate a vehicle crash that occurred on July 14, on Highway 3b near Fruitvale.
A 26-year-old male died as a result of injuries sustained during the crash. Police are seeking information from anyone that may have witnessed the crash or saw the tractor trailer unit hauling scrap cars immediately preceding the crash.
