Blasting on Washington Street starting Wednesday, July 13

Nearby residents may hear some muffled explosions while blasting takes place on the Washington Street project, starting Wednesday July 13, between 5th Avenue and Jubilee.
There will be single lane, alternating traffic at the Plewman Way — Spokane Street — McLeod Avenue intersection from Wednesday July 13 to to Friday July 15 inclusive.
5th Avenue will be closed to through traffic at Washington Street.
The 6th Avenue intersection with Washington Street is closed.
Drivers are reminded about the one-way downhill sections of Spokane Street. They’re clearly marked.
