Darrel Unger was found safe and sound last night, according to Sgt. Oelke of the RCMP detachment in Trail.

Earlier Update:

A missing person being sought by police is in no way dangerous, according to RCMP Sgt. Darren Oelke. Oelke said the man, Darrell Unger, is being sought purely because an extended absence of this sort is very much out of character, and his family is deeply concerned for his well being.

Oelke said police have no idea where Unger might have headed, and are hoping a sighting of his car (described below) might lead to discovering his whereabouts.

Original story:

Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 49-year-old Darrell Unger, of Trail, who has been missing since this morning about 11a.m., according to Trail top cop Sgt. Darren Oelke.

“Darrell Unger was last seen driving his burgandy 2014 Ford F150 bearing BC Licence number 0311LP away from his residence in Sunningdale,” Oelke said. “Darrell is described as 5’11”, 190 lbs wiith very short white hair and a moustache and goatee.

“If Darrell or his vehicle are located please contact the police immediately at 250-364-2566.”
