Community Social Planning is a local democratic system for setting priorities, arriving at equitable compromises and taking action.  It supports community needs and interests in social, cultural, economic and environmental affairs.  Indicators provide a way for us to assess community conditions, such as “health of the community”, which cannot be measured directly, in order to set community priorities for action.
