City issues notice re: Victoria Street construction

This notice is to inform the public that as of Monday, Oct. 28, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MoTI) has started grinding and paving Victoria Street/Highway 3B from the east end of the Gulch to the Victoria Street bridge. The estimated completion date is Nov. 15. Motorists can expect single-lane two way traffic 7a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Saturday and traffic delays up to 20 minutes for the duration of the project.

This project is part the MoTI’s H3B Trail Arterial Resurfacing Project. The overall goal of the project is to improve safety for the travelling public, make travelling on this section of road more enjoyable for all users and enhance the movement of goods and services to the community providing an economic benefit.
