Rossland Dancer at Provincial Festival in Chilliwack

Grade 10 student Sally Turnbull is dancing in the Ballet category at the Performing Arts BC Provincial Festival in Chilliwack this week, (May 26-30) after being selected by an adjudicator at the Kamloops festival. “I’m a little nervous, but mostly excited to be here” said Sally, from her hotel in Chilliwack.
Sally will be performing two ballet solos but also attending workshops in Ballet and Modern while in Chilliwack.
There will be one more opportunity to see Sally and the other Kootenay Danceworks dancers performing locally this year, on Wednesday, June 12th at the solo show at RSS at 6 p.m. Admission is $5.00 at the door. This show will feature only solos, duets and trios.
