Heritage City featured on News Hour on the Road Show
They came, they shot and they left.
The News Hour on the Road Show made a stop Thursday in the Heritage City, shooting the most watched provincial news program in BC from the courtyard of Nelson City Hall.
The News Hour on the Road Show focused on stories from the Heritage City, including a feature on a local Grow-op somewhere in the Nelson region.
Anchor Chris Gailus had a tour of the basement bunker before interviewing the local grower about his business.
Joining Gailus was sports anchor Squire Barnes and meteorologist Kristi Gordon.
Gordon had a young child help her with the weather while Barnes conducted his usual one liners during the sports segment.
Barnes even joined in on the All-Candidates Health Forum later in the evening.
Walking through the hallways of the Hume Hotel, Barnes found his way into the Health Forum where he interrupted the debate with a question of his own.
“I’ve got a question,” Barnes asked, “where’s a good place in this town to eat?”
The News Hour on the Road Show concludes Friday filming live from the lawns of the BC Legislature.
