White Rock: Home invasion results in cookie seizure
A male living in the 15800 block of North Bluff Road in White Rock was assaulted by two would-be robbers.
The 22-year-old victim interrupted a home invasion to his residence just before noon and was hit in the head by a male with a crowbar, but was able to fend the assailant and his partner off.
The males were described as Caucasian, wearing black hooded sweaters with white designs. One male, approximately 6ft tall, wearing a black baseball hat and the second approximately 5 ft 7 inches tall, were last seen running north across 16th Ave into Surrey.
Later in the evening, White Rock RCMP executed a search warrant on the same residence. Police seized an undetermined amount of Marihuana, along with an estimated 8,000 home baked cookies believed to contain Marihuana.
The male victim and two females, a 20-year-old and 54-year-old were arrested and will appear in court in late May, to answer to a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance For The Purpose of Trafficking.
