Girl friend charged in death of man in Kimberley

A 37-year-old woman has been charged in the suspicious death of a man Friday (March 8) in Kimberley.
On Friday RCMP was called to a residence in Marysville to find a deceased 47-year-old male.
The death appeared suspicious whick prompted investigators to secure the scene and requested the assistance of major crime.
The man’s girl friend has been arrested and is currently being held in custody pending a court appearance.
The investigation is still in the early stages and police have not confirmed the cause of death.
Police would like to assure the public this is not a random act.
