The suspects departed the residence and their vehicle description was passed along to neighbouring detachments and Nelson Police Department.

Road checks were strategically set up and patrols of the area made.

At roughly 2:30 p.m., on Highway 3 near Bridesville, Midway and South Okanagan RCMP stopped the suspect vehicle with four male occupants.

The quartet was were taken in custody without incident.

A subsequent search of the suspect vehicle revealed a handgun and pellet gun.
