Castlegar man faces jail time after repeat offences

A local man is facing several months in jail after two thefts and a breach of Probation conviction in court this week, according to Castlegar RCMP Sgt. Laurel Mathew.
“Thirty-four-year-old Trevor Isenor was sentenced to three months in jail for a theft from Total Pet on Sept. 20, and three months jail for a theft from Safeway the same day,” she said. “The three-month sentences will run concurrently.”
Mathew said Isenor was also sentenced to 45 days jail for a breach of Probation.
“(That offense) was committed on Sept. 8, in which Mr. Isenor was found by police when he was out of his residence after his court-ordered curfew,” she said. “He was initially sentenced to serve these 45 days intermittently ( weekends), however this intermittent sentenced was collapsed into straight jail time after the two new thefts occurred.”
A 22-year-old female is also facing charges for the two above-noted thefts.
She will make her first court appearance in November.
