Leafs, Rebels play to 1-1 tie

Nelson played to its second tie in as many games Sunday in Kootenay International Junior Hockey League exhibition play in Castlegar, playing the Rebels to a 1-1 draw.
The game is the third in four preseason contests for the Green and White.
Nelson concludes the exhibition season Tuesday at the NDCC Arena against the same Rebels.
Head coach Frank Maida reduced the roster following a two-game set last week against Beaver Valley.
The same two teams open the KIJHL regular season Friday at the NDCC Arena.
Game time for both games is 7 p.m.
