On Saturday, June 2, the Rossland Secondary School Interact Club will be hosting a used book sale in the Bank of Montreal Building beside Kootenay Nordic Sports. The sale will run from 10-4.

Proceeds will help fund the Rossland Secondary School Interact club’s trip to Roatan, Honduras this August, where students will spend two weeks helping out Familias Saludables, an organization that is devoted to fighting the terrible AIDS epidemic that afflicts the area.

Quality used books, CDs, DVDs, and even vintage VHS tapes will be for sale. Interact will also be accepting donations of meal replacement and electrolyte formulas, diapers (no used diapers please), toiletries, first aid products, used children’s clothing and school supplies.

Every contribution helps, so tell your friends and drop on by!
