West Kootenay hoop officials get ready to toss up ball on new basketball season

Hoop players have been busy working on their respective games prior to the High School Basketball season.
So are the officials.
The West Kootenay Basketball Officials Association is busy gearing up for another season on the hardwood with is inaugural meeting set for Tuesday in Castlegar.
The place and time is Twin Rivers Elementary next to Stanley Humphries High School in Castlegar at 6:30 p.m.
WKBOA president Dave Brewer will lead the meeting as the officials gear up for another season on the court.
The meeting is open to anyone wishing to officiate in basketball in the West Kootenay.
The WKBOA is in charge of officiating games from junior to senior from Kaslo in the north to Trail and Grand Forks in the south.
