The search for three-year-old Kienan Hebert continues along with the investigation into his disappearance.

Police are now in the position, as a result of the on-going and active investigation launched when Kienan was reported missing, to confirm that they are dealing with case of child abduction.  “As the investigation progresses and new information is obtained, assessed and extensively investigated, we have been able to make significant advances in this priority investigation”, says Cpl. Dan Mosaluk RCMP spokesperson. “New information, learned by police after Kienen was reported missing, has been confirmed that there was an attempt abduction earlier the day Kienan disappeared. So we once again encourage anyone with any information to please come forward and speak with police”  Tammy and Paul Hebert, Kienan’s parents are also issuing a plea to whoever has their son.  In a statement made Saturday Sept. 10, Paul Hebert said, “Speaking to whoever has Kienan right now: We are just asking please bring Kienan to a safe place right now. Okay? Like a gas station or a store parking lot where he is visibly seen and you can just drop him off there. Walk away. We just want him safe. Kienan is only three years old right now, and as you know and we know, Kienan can’t speak. So he can’t tell us who you are. This is your chance now to get away. All we want is Kienan to come back with us and to be safe in our arms again. Thank you.”  Police are once again reminding the public that three-year-old Kienan is described as having short red hair, was last seen wearing “Scooby Doo” cartoon boxer shorts and may be carrying up to three blankets with him.  Anyone who sees Kienan Hebert is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
