The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League Final is now down to a best-of-three series.

Timely scoring and a 21-save performance from goalie Alex Ross powered the Castlegar Rebels to a 2-0 victory over the Osoyoos Coyotes in game four of the KIJHL Final Wednesday night at the Complex in the Sunflower City.

Game five in the series is set for Friday in the Osoyoos Sun Bowl where the Desert Dogs have been almost unbeatable.

The teams return to Castlegar for game six Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

If necessary, game seven will be played Monday in Osoyoos.

Second period goals by Kootenay Ice affiliate player Jesse Knowler, with his eighth of the playoffs, and Taylor Anderson, was all the scoring Castlegar would need. The Rebels out shot the Dogs 14-7 in the frame.

But this night belonged to Ross who completely frustrated the Coyotes through 60 minutes.

Castlegar out shot the Dogs in the game 28-21.
