Joe Hill for May: comedy, choirs, and dancers

On Sunday, May 16 at 7 PM the Joe Hill Coffeehouse will present another great show of variety and talent. Rossland’s Miners’ Hall. Doors will open at 6:00 PM and admission, as always, is only three dollars! Read on to find out which locals will be braving the stage this month.

 

  • The Columbia Phoenix Players … one act comedy, “Dave & Louis” featuring Ty Wright & Jake Lesiuk
  •  “No Frets Majors” … Janis Anderson’s senior fiddle group
  •  “New Rossland Choir” … lead by Nadine Tremblay
  • “Donny B & The Hornets” … old rock/pop songs you all know, featuring Don Birtch, Jim Joy and Michael Gifford
  • Andy Ross … always entertaining, great guitar, dulcimer & vocals!
  • Ray Tenisci .. “The Brick Layer’s Assistant” –  comedy sketch
  • “Rossland Young Fun Choir” … lead and accompanied on harp by Janet Marshall
  • Kara Deane … Rossland’s young singer extraordinaire
  • Kootenay DanceWorks… three dance routines featuring Renee Salsiccioli’s dance students
