A Montrose woman has been taken to hospital after her truck rolled over 360 degrees, according to Trail RCMP Sgt. Mike Wicentowich.

“A 58-year-old Montrose woman was driving her 2018 Ford F150 truck westbound when her truck suddenly swerved off the side of the highway, crashed into a pile of dirt, rolling over once and came to rest on its wheels, according to a witness.

“KBFRF extracted the 58-year-old Montrose woman from her vehicle. EHS transported her to the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital to received treatment for her serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Trail RCMP believe that the 58-year-old Montrose woman may have experienced a medical related incident prior to the crash, Wicentowich said.
