New Democrat MP, Alex Atamanenko, says that upcoming February forums being hosted by the West Kootenay Concerned Citizens group will be a not-to-be-missed opportunity to hear what retired military officer, Jerry Flynn, has to say about the hazards of electromagnetic radiation emissions from wireless smart meters.  With 22 years experience in Canada’s and NATO’s army electronic warfare units, Flynn will present evidence which supports his belief that government and industry plans to install wireless smart meters in every home is negligent and highly dangerous, especially to our new and future generations.

“A wired version of the same technology would present no risk, no public fear and no controversy,” noted the BC Southern Interior MP.  “Why is the wireless option being presented as our only choice?”

The public forums will be held on February 2nd at 2:00 pm in The Trail Legion, 2141 Columbia Ave, Trail, February 2nd at 7:00 pm in the Kinnaird Hall, 2-2320 Columbia Ave, Castlegar and on February 3rd at 2:00 pm in the Slocan Park Hall (next to Co-op store) in Slocan Park.

“If you are wondering why such a controversy around wireless smart meters exists then I hope you will come and hear Jerry Flynn at a meeting near you,” said Cliff Paluck of the West Kootenay Concerned Citizens group. “If anyone knows the dangers and health hazards being posed by this technology it is him.”
