Art Sale -- to raise funds for legal challenge to EAO decision on Record Ridge mine proposal

The Save Record Ridge Action Committee (SRRAC) is persevering in its work to challenge any easy “yes” decision for a permit that would allow the controversial open-pit mine on Record Ridge to proceed.
Currently, those efforts are focused on seeking a judicial review of the Environmental Assessment Office’s decision to not require an environmental assessment of the open-pit mine proposal.
To fund the legal challenge, SRRAC has a “GoFundMe” page — “Save Record Ridge, Stop the Open Pit Mine“ — and is working on other ways ways to raise the large amount of money required for any court action. To that end, the group is holding an art sale on September 6, at the old Parish hall location, across Columbia Avenue from Sacred Heart church. Check the poster below for details:
