Castlegar Rebels sign Deegan Kyle for upcoming 2025-26 season

Kyle is a 2008-born forward from Fruitvale, British Columbia. Last season, Kyle was the captain for the West Kootenay Crusaders U18 AA program and scored over 20 goals while leading the team to a birth in the Provincial Championships.
“I am excited to play good hockey and still be able to live at home,” said Kyle.
“I have been wanting to play in the KIJHL since I was a little kid. It’s fast and physical and I have always enjoyed watching it. I am looking forward to playing with a new group of guys and playing for a new coach. I can’t wait to be pushed and try as hard as I can to help the team this year.”
“Deegan will be a great addition to the Rebels. He is really eager for the opportunity and checks a lot of boxes for us in what we are looking for in a local young player,” said Head Coach, Alex Evin.
The Rebels organization would like to welcome Deegan and the Kyle family to the program and the city of Castlegar.
