Kamloops RCMP: Wanted: James Wessel
Police are asking for public assistance in locating a man with an arrest warrant out of Kamloops.
In a press release Wednesday, RCMP said James Andrew Wessel, 25 years old, has an unendorsed warrant related to offences including forcible confinement, uttering threats, assault causing bodily harm, assault by choking, and failure to comply with release conditions in Kamloops, and one for assault out of Burnaby.
“Since receiving the arrest warrant, Kamloops RCMP frontline officers have made efforts to locate James Wessel, but he remains at large,” said Cpl. Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP Detachment spokesperson. “He is not from here originally and may have left the area.”
James Wessel is described as:
- Caucasian male
- 25 years old
- Blue eyes
- Brown hair
- 5’9”
- 180 lbs
Police are asking for James Wessel to please attend his nearest police station to turn himself in, or for anyone who has information that may help locate him to please contact police as soon as possible.
