Speaker Series and Gallery Showing with Melanie Mercier: “Rooting for Nature, Rooting for Ourselves”
Melanie Mercier is returning with a double-header event! “Rooting for Nature, Rooting for Ourselves” is a celebration of the intrinsic connection between nature and humanity, highlighting the symbiosis that exists between all living beings and the health of our environment, and a visual exploration that inspires environmental stewardship. Join us at the Museum at 6:30 pm on Thursday, March 13th, for a Speaker Series talk and Gallery Show that aims to not only spark conversations but also inspire tangible actions that contribute to a more sustainable and harmonious world.

Spring Break Camps
Join us for two fantastic weeks of spring break programming at the Rossland Museum! Camps are appropriate for ages 6-10 and run 9 am to 3 pm (drop-off begins at 8:45 am, pick-up between 3-4 pm). More info/sign up at rosslandmuseum.ca/day-camps
- Week #1: Mineral Magic – March 17th – 21st: It’s no secret – Rossland rocks! Week 1 of Spring Break Camps at the Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre is here to celebrate some of the mineral magic that makes our home extra special. With each day grounded in a new rocky topic, campers are sure to be kept on their toes. Register now for this slate of fun programming!
- Week #2: Hometown Spirit – March 24th – 28th: Rossland may be a small city, but it’s a community with big heart. Week 2 of Spring Break Camps at the Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre is all about the hometown spirit, lore, and events that have given Rosslanders reasons to show some hometown pride. Each day will highlight something special about Rossland and our history, so campers are sure to feel the spirit!
Easter Egg Hunt
Join us on Saturday, April 19th, for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt—a day packed with egg hunts, Easter-y crafts and races, face painting, activities, and more!
