BC Highway Patrol looking to solve recent fatal collisions

BC Highway Patrol are looking for witnesses and dashcam for several recent fatal collisions.

BC Highway Patrol is seeking witnesses and dashcam footage of the following fatal collisions, including up to an hour prior to the collisions:

  • Eastbound on Hwy 1 between Langley and the Vedder Canal Bridge, Chilliwack, between 1:30 and 2:35 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6. Contact BCHP – Chilliwack Constable Travis Singh at (604) 702-4039 or email: travis.singh@rcmp-grc.gc.ca;
  • The area of Hwy 1 at exit 165 in Hope, westbound and eastbound, on Monday, July 29, between midnight and 1 a.m. Contact BCHP – Chilliwack at (604) 702-4039;
  • Highway 6 between Hills and Summit Lake between 5 and 6 p.m. on July 5. Those with dash cam footage can contact BCHP – Nelson at (250) 354-5180; and
  • BC Highway Patrol wish to speak with witnesses to a collision that occurred on Hwy 97 near Dawson Way in which a pedestrian died. Highway Patrol is looking for witnesses who did not speak to police and dash cam footage between 2 and 4 a.m. on Aug. 11. Please contact BC Highway Patrol – Fort Nelson at (250) 774-3883.
