Castlegar hockey player commits to Trail Smoke Eaters

The Trail Smoke Eaters are proud to announce the signing of Brayden Rotach (’07).

Rotach is a 5’11”, 165-pound left shot forward from Castlegar, BC and played last season with the Okanagan Rockets U18 AAA program in the BCEHL. In 36 games this past season, Brayden scored 17 goals and added 30 assists for 47 points. Brayden also produced 10 points in 7 playoff games this past spring.

“We are happy to add Brayden to our program. He is coming off a successful season with the Rockets. Brayden is a very cerebral player that has high potential, we like his overall skill set along with him being a high character individual,” said Tim Fragle, general manager and head coach. “Brayden is coming of a strong ID camp in Trail, to which he earned his way to this opportunity through competition. Our staff looks forward to helping Brayden with his overall development this coming season.”

The Smoke Eaters would like to welcome Brayden and his family to the Smoke Eaters program!
