Winner of Great Canadian Baking Show comes to the Kootenay Gallery

The Kootenay Gallery is thrilled to showcase the ephemeral and delicious art of cake decorating by hosting the winner of this past season’s Great Canadian Baking Show, Loïc Fauteux-Goulet, to the Gallery on Sunday, May 5.
Mr. Fauteux-Goulet will provide a demonstration of both 2D and 3D cake decorating techniques for creating beautiful floral designs for a limited number of registrants, who will then have the opportunity to decorate their own cakes under his tutelage.
The doors will then open to the general public for a meet and greet reception and an opportunity to hear Mr. Fauteux-Goulet speak about his culinary journey, while enjoying refreshments and a slice of cake baked by Mr. Fauteux-Goulet himself. Registration is also required for the reception.
Folks are welcome to register for either the cake demo/workshop (which includes the reception) or just the reception itself. Members of the Gallery will have an opportunity for exclusive registration until April 9, after which time the general public is welcome to register.
