According to the unofficial results posted on CivicInfo BC, Rossland's new Mayor Andy Morel  won the election with 1,052 votes, over Kim LaFond’s 570 votes.

Rossland was declared to have  3,127 eligible voters, but only 1,627 of us turned out to mark our ballots in this election.

The six new councillors, and the number of votes they received, are shown below, as well as the unsuccessful candidates for office.

Congratulations to them all, and thanks to all who stood for election. The first scheduled Council meeting for our new councillors will be held on November 7, at the Miners Union Hall.
