Help Us Fill Our Events Calendar
During the onset of the pandemic, we decided to build a new event calendar platform. Of course, it wasn’t easy to test the platform while many events were not able to go forward. Now that things are starting to feel normal again, we would like you to help us add events to our calendar and test the platform. This calendar will be embedded on the Tourism Rossland website, and in the future, our tourism stakeholders websites upon request.
The process for adding events to the calendar is simple:
1) Create a Facebook Event
2) Add Tourism Rossland as a co-host for your Facebook event (This also allows your event to appear on our Facebook page, which has over fourteen thousand followers.)
If your event meets our criteria, Tourism Rossland will accept your co-hosting request, which will make your event appear on our Tourism Rossland Facebook page as well as the event calendar, currently hosted at https://southkootenayevents.com
If you have any questions on how to create a Facebook event, or how to add us as a co-host, email kylie@tourismrossland.com and we will walk you though the process. Also, please reach out if you encounter any bugs or have any feedback about the calendar.
