Free Public Skating, funded by the Murphy Family Foundation

Lace up your skates for free public skating in the Cominco Arena at the Trail Memorial Centre, generously funded by the Murphy Family Foundation (MFF).
The dates and times for free public skating are:
- Saturdays, February 5 to March 26 from 1 to 2 pm.
- Wednesdays, February 9 to March 30 from 5:45 to 7 pm.
Skaters must pre-register at trailrecreation.ca or 250-364-0858.

*Reminder – as of December 11, 2021, proof of full vaccination (2 doses) is required for all Trail Parks & Recreation public skating participants aged 12 years and older. Before pre-registering your skate time – you must verify your full vaccination status in advance through Trail Parks & Recreation at the Trail Aquatic & Leisure Centre with your vaccine passport and government issued ID (ID required for participants aged 19 years and older). Please call us at 250-364-0858 so we can recommend a good time for you to visit the facility to complete this process. Once complete, pre-registration is available to you all season long online at trailrecreation.ca or by calling 250-364-0858.
