Police are asking residents to keep their eyes peeled for the bad egg(s) who vandalized a local home last weekend, according to Trail RCMP detachment commander Sgt. Mike Wicentowich

“On Sept. 26, at 5:02 p.m. Trail and Greater District RCMP received a report about a residence that had been egged over the weekend in the 2600 block of Jubilee Street in Rossland,” he said. “Trail RCMP ask the public to report any suspicious activity in this neighbourhood or on any information leading to the identity of the culprits and their ill-intended poultry products to the Trail Detachment at 250-364-2566.”

And while the subject matter lends itself to fowl jokes, it’s actually something that can cause serious damage to homes, and which police take very seriously.

Trail RCMP plan to step up patrols in the area”
