The Rossland Fall Fair will delight all  gardeners, crafters, artists, bakers, canners – and everyone who comes to view the colourful displays.  On Saturday, September 7th, the Fair will be open to the public at 11:00 am, and for a tiny entry fee, everyone can go see all the entries and the results of the judging – as well as enjoy the live music, and check out the wares being sold by a variety of vendors, and all the other attractions.  Model railroad!  Petting zoo!  Fish Pond!  Henna tattoos!  The Lions Club food booth will be just outside the doors!  And much more.

The tiny entry fee is just $3 for adults, $2 for students and seniors;  children  6 years old and younger get in free.

The Fall Fair encourages participants to enter their own home-grown garden produce, baking and home-made craft and hobby items in their appropriate categories.  To find out what those numerous categories are, pick up an entry form – they’re available at many Rossland businesses and stores, or you can look at the full list of categories at the Fall Fair website:  www.rosslandfallfair.ca

The entry form, complete with the list of rules that apply, is also available at:  http://www.rosslandfallfair.ca/2019_Rossland_Fall_Fair_Entry_Form.pdf

Participants must bring their entries to the Rossland Arena on Friday, September 6, between noon and 7:00 pm.  All the entries are judged early Saturday morning, and the prize ribbons and prize money are awarded to 1st,  2nd, and 3rd place winners.

The Rossland Fall Fair is a highlight during Rossland’s Golden City days – it’s a must-do event, especially for anyone who is new to Rossland.

For more information, check the website and the entry form and rules, and if what you need to know isn’t there, email your questions to  rosslandbc.fallfair@gmail.com
