Woman Killed in Crash

At about a quarter to six in the morning on July 25, a woman was riding her motorcyle west along Highway 3-B when a vehicle described in the police press release as “a small SUV” turned left in front of her at Old Waneta Road. The woman died at the scene and the driver of the SUV was not injured.
Members of the West Kootenay Traffic Services continue to investigate the crash.
