Armed robber escapes with undisclosed amount of cash in Keremeos

RCMP Cpl Kathleen Thain said a lone male suspect made away with an undisclosed amount of cash Wednesday evening, after holding up a restaurant employee at the Keremeos Subway.

Thain said the robbery happened Wednesday (December 16) at around 9 pm.

Keremeos RCMP responded to the Subway Restaurant following the armed robbery which the lone male suspect was welding a knife.

No one was injured during the robbery and the investigation is ongoing.

The suspect was described as:

  • approximately 5’11” / 180cm  tall
  • medium build
  • he was wearng all black clothing including a hoodie and ski mask.

Investigators are asking that anyone with information on this matter or any other offence is asked to call the Keremeos RCMP at 250-499-5511 or via CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477(tips).
