Police seek information on Salmo Curling rink break-in
Salmo police are looking for a person/people who broke into the Salmo Curling rink on Sunday, Cpl Riordan Bellman.
“On Oct. 4, at 10 a.m., Salmo RCMP responded to a Break and Enter at the Salmo Curling Club,” Bellman said. “Organizers discovered that the rink had been broken into sometime between 2 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Entry was gained through the front door by smashing the small window and reaching in and opening the door.
“The suspect(s) then went through all cupboards in the kitchen, locating keys for the pop machine. They then smashed the locks on three doors. One of these led to upstairs, where the culprit located about $200 dollars in liquor. The suspect(s) left through the back door of the rink.”
