UPDATE: Young Autistic man found in Cranbrook

RCMP now report that Fortier was found, uninjured, in Cranbrook.

PREVIOUS:

The Trail and Greater District RCMP Detachment is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 17-year-old Autistic male, last seen Thursday, June 5 at 7 a.m. in the Beaver Falls area.

Alexander Fortier is described as being 6’2″ tall, slender with short brown hair, blue eyes and some facial hair. He may be travelling with an older, blue-coloured CCM mountain bike and may be headed to the Salmo or Creston area.

If you have any information relating to Fortier’s location, you are asked to immediately contact the Trail and Greater District RCMP at (250)364-2566.

Fortier was last seen wearing cut-off jean shorts and a grey/blue/beige shirt without sleeves.

His hair is shorter than in the attached photo.
