Roller Derby this weekend!
Mark your calendars! May 12th, roller derby takes Castlegar by storm when the derby dames of the West Kootenay Womens Rollers Derby League once again battle it out for supremacy and bragging rights on the track. This double-header event features Salmo’s Babes of Brutality taking on the home town team, Castlegar’s Dam City Rollers. And the second bout of the night is destined to be a grudge match when the Bad News Betties out of Trail attempt to best the Valley Vendettas. And what evening of derby would be complete without an after-party? Festivities hosted by the Dam City Rollers at Chances Casino directly after the bout. Come out and cheer your favorite team on at this family-friendly event!
This next installment of derby action takes place at the Castlegar Community Complex on Saturday, May 12th – doors open at 5 pm and the first whistle goes at 6.
