A worried family is hoping that their brother in law, 67 year old William McHendry, who has not been heard from since December 23rd, will contact them to say he’s alright.

Though Police have evidence that William McHendry was in the Lower Mainland, he has not yet contacted his family and they are left wondering why.

McHendry used his bankcard at a Royal Bank in the Lower Mainland and Police have confirmed that it was McHendry himself who used it.

McHendry was reported missing after his family lost contact with him on December 23rd. His family states his behavior is very out of character and noted that he had been despondent prior to breaking off contact.

Kelowna RCMP, along with McHendry ‘s family is pleading for McHendry to at least make contact to confirm that he is all right or if he needs help.

McHendry ‘s description is 67 years old,Caucasian, 5’ 9″ tall, around 160-180 lbs, with grey hair and brown eyes.

Anyone seeing him or knowing of his whereabouts is asked to call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or visit www.crimestoppers.net to report.
