Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the people responsible for a break-in at Bubblee’s Liquor Store  around midnight last night, according to RCMP Cpl. Dan Pollock.

“The culprits smashed a window to gain entry to the business … located at 651 18th Street,” he said, adding police responded to the call at just after midnight. “Police Dog Services were called to assist, but the culprits were not located.”   He said police have by no means exhausted their investigative options at this point, but any information anyone may have about the break-in would be most welcome.   “We don’t have a total on what’s missing yet, and we haven’t had a good look at the video footage yet,” he said. “The investigation is continuing and (police) are following up on several potential leads. If you have any information which may assist police, you are asked to contact the Castlegar RCMP at 250-365-7721.”
